About Me

Hey there, I’m Osric Dienda. I’m rising freshman at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a graduate of South Texas ISD Science Academy. I’m an aspiring astrophysicist and a computer science enthusiast. I enjoy testing my knowledge across STEM fields in competitions such as Science Bowl, where my team won the regional championships, and Science Olympiad, where we achieved my school’s highest state-level Astronomy and Robot Tour placements in over 30 years. I also competed in the University Interscholastic League (UIL), where I accumulated over 50 invitational trophies and medals across the Science, Math, and Computer Science events.

I also love to engage with and serve my community both in and out of school. I was the president of my school’s Astronomy Club and Physics Club, and I served as the president of the McAllen Public Library’s Teen Advisory Committee. I'm definitely not done yet, though!
